Microsoft developed the so called User Profile Hive Cleanup Service that is responsible for terminating critical or flawed services in time:

1. Click on this link and select Continue. Microsoft asks you to verify your copy of Windows by performing the Windows Genuine Advantage check. As soon as this check is complete, hit Download files below and download the 350 kb file.

2. Double-click on the downloaded file and select Next. Accept the license agreement and confirm with Next. Hit Next again to start the installation. After setup is complete you are free to click Close to exit the assistant.

3. You should go to Start/(Settings)/Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Services and check whether the User Profile Hive Cleanup service is set to Automatic.
