1. Press Start/Settings/Control Panel/Add/Remove Programs, highlight programs or tools you seldom or never use and hit the Change/Remove button.
2. The fewer programs are installed on your system the more disk space and system resource you have. Since programs do not only consume disk space but also a rather amount of memory (autorun applications or large Registry entries). Additionaly, we recommend browsing your hard disk for applications that are not listed under Add/Remove Programs. For instance, some applications can only be found under C:\ or C:\Programs (or wherever you might have installed them).
You Windows will thank you for deleting this weight on its shoulders!
